I've played football and baseball my whole life, focusing on football in college after being recruited. In high school, I earned first-team defensive player of the year twice and played a part in my team winning the local National Select 7-on-7 tournaments, going on to make and compete with the best teams in the country at the nations tournament. Before and during high school, I trained with Brandon Phillips (former Reds second baseman) and his father, who aided in my success and helped develop my baseball talent.
