How much do college softball camps cost?
A Division I prospect camp starts at a median of $200; half of D1 programs price theirs between $150 and $250. Division III prospect camps start at a median of $120. A D1 skills clinic runs about $99.

What the numbers mean
- Prospect, elite and ID camps are where a program's staff evaluates players. They cost more than clinics and are the ones worth budgeting for if a school is on your list.
- Skills clinics teach one part of the game (hitting, pitching, catching) and are often run for younger players. They are usually not a recruiting evaluation.
- Prices are the starting price. Overnight options, add-on sessions and multi-day packages cost more, so plan above the median for a full camp.
How we calculate this
- Every camp comes from a college program's own camp page or its registration site, the same listings shown on our camp pages.
- Each program counts once: we take the median of its camps, then the median across programs. Without this, one school listing dozens of sessions would set the price for its whole division.
- A listed range counts at its lowest paid price, so “$0 – $600” counts as $600. Camps with no dollar amount are left out.
- Team camps are left out because they are priced per team, not per player.
- A division shows a price only when at least 5 programs list one. Camps that started more than about a year ago are not counted.
