NCAA Eligibility Center Registration

September 2025

Register with the NCAA Eligibility Center before junior year to be eligible for D1/D2 recruiting.

D1 Contact Period Opens

June 15, 2025

D1 coaches can begin direct communication with recruits after June 15 of sophomore year.

SAT/ACT Testing

Take standardized tests by spring of junior year. Many coaches want scores before offering.

Campus Visits

Schedule official and unofficial visits to your top schools during junior year.

Early Signing Period (NLI)

Film position-specific skills and game footage. Upload to YouTube and keep the link in your profile.

Complete your recruiting profile

Include stats, GPA, test scores, video link, schedule, and contact info. Keep it updated monthly.

Email at least 20 coaches

Must Do

Send personalized emails to coaches on your target list. Reference something specific about their program.

Register with NCAA Eligibility Center

Must Do

Required for D1 and D2 athletes. Register at eligibilitycenter.org and ensure core courses are on track.

Attend 3+ college camps or showcases

Prioritize camps at schools on your target list. Always follow up within 48 hours.

Maintain a 3.0+ GPA
